module three

Hi there friend,

Here you are, half way through the work, and things are about to get real. This second half of the course has a different vibe than the first half, but I have a feeling you are fully ready and prepared for that.

  • You're going to write out your story.

  • You’re going to get to the core of 'Why and for Who.'

  • And you will be writing your website manifest.

  • ...but first you’re going to find the ten keywords to your soul language.

Let’s find out what sets your soul on fire.

Is writing second nature to you? Or is it a challenge to get those beautiful words out of your head on onto your (digital) paper?

Either way, working with keywords can be a very helpful tool. You can use your keywords to create a consistency in your brand, you can use them as a framework for your writing or you can use them as part of your brand, like I did with Nature, Balance and Love. Most people don’t know this, but if you take the first two letters of each word, you will have Nabalo.

So get ready to find your soul language. The goal is to explore which words speak to you, we are looking for words that give you an instant spark when you read or use them. I'm going to give you a bunch of words to choose from - but please don't let this hold you back from finding your own words - read them, out loud or in your head. Really feel into these words and see which ones resonate and give you the feeling that you are looking for.

Write these words down, you will need them again when you are writing your website manifest later in this module.

Clarity journal practice.

Before we move onto the next two writing practices I want you to ground yourself, center your thoughts and do a little written visualisation freestyle session. This will help you understand yourself and your visitors better, here we go. Don't think, just write:

  • What is driving you?

  • Who is your ideal customer?

  • Are you looking for a connection with your customers?

  • What does your perfect workday look like?

Sharing your story.

I believe that when you create and share from an authentic place, you can do, be and create everything you dream of.

With all the social media channels that are available to us today, it has become very easy to share snapshots and stories from our life. Most of us share our thoughts and experiences multiple times a day. Our posts are seen by family, our community, and our friends. But also by your followers, people who you don’t know but are interested in what you write or offer. It's pretty amazing that we have so many possibilities to share and connect to people all over the world.

But keep it real. Write from the heart. Create from the soul.

Share your journey, all of it. Share your challenges as well as your accomplishments. Share the good and the bad, as long as it is real. Be honest but always try to come from a place of kindness. People are getting more and more intuitive when it comes to who they interact with online, and they choose who they work with or buy from based on how the brand and the person behind it feels to them. They are looking for a connection and want to get to know you.....so share your story.

Writing your website manifest.

Writing your website manifest is a very important part of creating a website as this will be the first thing your visitors will read. So write this with your audience in mind and preferable write towards them. Your manifest will be starring on your front page, it's the first thing that your visitors will see, so use your power words and infuse this message with your energy. Ideally this manifest contains the answers to the why's , the who's, the feelings, the thoughts, the dreams, the goals, the future, the past, the purpose, the heart and the soul.

I invite you to spend a good amount of time on this and really tune into your inner self.

Remember: "Write from the heart. Create from the soul."

If you need a little boost to start up the creativity, use your 10 sacred keywords from the Soul Language practice and create a manifest around those words.

Module Three Homework.

  • Sacred keywords. Write out a list of your ten scared keywords, keep these close during the rest of your writing practices.

  • Share your story. It’s important that people get to know you, your ‘about page’ will be all about that and you will be sharing your story there.

  • Write your website manifest. Now that you have gained clarity, created a visual and started with writing content you will have a better sense of how you want to welcome people.

Take a deep breath, you did it! You wrote ta good amount of content for your main and about page. That feels good right?! In the next module I’m teaching you how to officially register your domain on squarespace!
